Am I the Only One That Has An Issue ??

I am not looking for a debate. I do not want any disrespect. All I want to know is if im the only one that has a severe issue with some of the threads on this site ? I find some of these so severely disrespectful sometimes, i literally want to cry. After reading some of these threads, i have considered leaving this site & not looking back in on it. I just want to know if i am alone.. Maybe im just having a bad day, maybe im not. I dont know.. i think i should just sell all my chickens & block this site on my computer !!!

First of all there is something in the water today. Everything is off kilter all over the place. Secondly, no you are not the only one. I have started staying away from threads simply because of their title, and then some of the ones I comment on have just gone downhill fast.

I think that there are plenty of really kind, caring, smart, friendly, funny people on this site. They are what keep me here. And of course, learning more about all the new animals I have now!!!

Just back out of a thread and PM someone you like and rant in private. It's better that way!

I take what I want from the posts and leave the rest. I try not to get in a debate, no matter how hard sometimes. Lol

I think there are many categories on the index page that you would find much more enjoyable. Explore those a bit, avoid the more controversial ones, and I'm sure you'll start feeling better after a bit. There's a nice photography thread that is sure to soothe you. There's some real talent here.

mrszlopez, I think many times, we may read the wrong tone into someone's post and think they mean something that they do not. Some are just short with their words, while others take the time to spell everything out, all the while trying to interject their intended tone into the post. I know that there are times when I've bitten my tongue and gone out of my way to make my point with as much tact as I can muster, however, even then, if another member doesn't like the content of what I'm saying, they think it's rude. We cannot all agree on things or always get across our point adequately. To disagree is not disrespect. With 27000 members, we have all kinds. I don't go into Meat Birds much because I do not process my birds. I have gone in to see how to humanely euthanize a hurt or ill bird, though. And I see methods used that make me wince when I read them, so I stay out of the Meat Birds Section. I think you personally would feel better if you stayed away from the Predator section, just like I avoid Meat Birds (though I am not a vegetarian).
Now, why would you sell all your chickens because others live their lives differently than you? Enjoy your birds and don't worry how others here or anywhere.
