Ok, I went to my checking account last week and set up an e-check to pay my housepayment. I checked this morning and saw that my housepayment wasn't paid, but my hubby's insurance for his business is paid and $333.00 paid over the balance of the year. Well, I guess I paid the insurance payment instead of the house payment.

Guess the mortgage company is going to have to wait another week. Thankfully the insurance Co. said they would seend the over payment of $333 back in 15 days. Man, I'm such a dork.

You are NOT alone!

I've done it many times!

I just started online checking and payments. My sister pretty much kept nagging me for the past year and I gave. Now that I've gotten used to it this past month I'll never go back to writing checks and mailing them. It's awesome!! So far I haven't paid any bill at the wrong time, but give me time.

Well, the funny thing is, i've never used the echeck thing through my bank to pay the insurance, I've always done it through their site, but put it on the checking so I could if I needed to. Go figure...lol. I love using the echeck, it's easy and free, unless you screw up

I didn't pay attention to the notice that the water company would be going from billing every month to every other month.

And because of the ducks and gardens, I always sent double the average just so we wouldn't be hit hard in the summer.

I noticed the bill went up one month so I started sending in double that amount automatically each month. About 6 months later the water company called and said to stop sending them money. I was paid for at least a year.
