Am I the only weirdo here that doesn't like to touch or hold the

Everyone gets held everyday & loves it. I also give my favorites kisses - no french

and hugs - They love to be loved
also its important to touch everyone everyday, if you dont ,your are way more likely to find out someone has an injury or something 2 weeks later when there is maggots in it, infection, etc

I could not have said it better myself Welasharon! I don't have a naked neck showgirl though.

You need to get one for sure! Everybody else just gets kisses on the face!

I will add a naked neck to my ever growing list.

Well if I held all my chickens and birds every day i would not have time to do anything else! So,in answer to the OP's post....I have chickens that think I am their mom and look to me for protection,I have some that are extremely independent and prefer not to be touched.I have some that fly up onto my shoulders every time they get the chance.I have a variety of reactions from my birds.I can say that I cannot remember the last day I held NO chickens all day!
My mother prefers to pet the chickens and not hold them...I think whatever you wanna do is fine...well...except kissing them...ummmm...NO way!

I like to hold my chick but at about 3 to 4 months I'm not in to trying to pick them up and I don't like them pecking anywhere near me... I had a very not cool uncle who gave me a very healthy fear of large brids I don't do geese or turkeys at all! I thought raising my own would make it better but it hasn't

I actually have a bird phobia but it doesn't extend to chickens for some reason. I guess maybe because they don't flit around? But then parrots scare the pants off me.

I'm nuts about my chickens, I hold them, pet them, share my food with them (let them eat off my plate), kiss them, and all sorts of other things my brothers call me crazy for

Yea, I have a pair of rubber clogs dedicated to the chicken run that I kick off at the back door. And an old sweatshirt I put on so I stay clean.

I have an affectionate BO who loves to fall asleep in my lap and makes the sweetest cooing noises. I couldn't imagine not holding her.
