Hi y’all!
I am in So. Cal. There’s a wildfire burning a few miles from me. Sky is filled with smoke! As of right now ducks and I are not in any danger or told to evacuate. My mom, whom lives in Texas, says she talked to her friend here, and they’re getting ash on their property. My question to you guys is: what do I do about duckies if ash starts pouring down on them..? The only place aside from free ranging I currently have to put them is in Brooders inside. I don’t want to do that 24/7 because it’s pretty stuffy for them. Is it dangerous to let them free range if the ash starts raining down? If it is, what can I do in the interim?
