Hi y’all!

I am in So. Cal. There’s a wildfire burning a few miles from me. Sky is filled with smoke! As of right now ducks and I are not in any danger or told to evacuate. My mom, whom lives in Texas, says she talked to her friend here, and they’re getting ash on their property. My question to you guys is: what do I do about duckies if ash starts pouring down on them..? The only place aside from free ranging I currently have to put them is in Brooders inside. I don’t want to do that 24/7 because it’s pretty stuffy for them. Is it dangerous to let them free range if the ash starts raining down? If it is, what can I do in the interim?

I would maybe put then in the garage with a fan if it's hot. Hope y'all are okay!
We are okay. If y’all have ever seen an overcast sky, that’s what it looks like from my house. Just lots and lots of smoke. Gives the world a slight red filter.

That’s makin me sweat just thinking about it. It’s been 90° to 110° during the day outside. In the garage is probably gonna be hotter.
If it gets real bad out I would put up some fans and a kitty pool in the garage, and check on them often
