They already found her guilty about 2 years ago.
To be specific, this is her appeal hearing.
If it's granted, she walks.
If it's overturned, she will either finish out her 26 year sentence or have it extended to life.
With the way the Italian courts have been treating her, I could totally see them extending it if it gets overturned.
I don't have an opinion on whether she actually did it or not because I wasn't there but judging by the lack of evidence they had against her, she should not have been found guilty in the first place.
This makes me appreciate American Law so much more.
