Amanda Knox in Italy

Ah! Conspiracy...maybe? How close have you been following this? Hey, she lived there, didn't she? How can you have no DNA on anything when you live there? Or are you just talking about the knife?

No she was a student in Italy. Her roommate was murdered. They accused her, her boyfriend and one other guy that confessed. His DNA was all over the place along with thev victims - Amanda Knox and her boyfriend had ZERO DNA in the room where the murder occured. Railroaded if you ask me. In Italy, it is two judges and 6 jurors. And I have been following this for two years.

Yes she has a sister. Her parents were there with the sister and everyone was just so shocked!!!! As I was.

I was following this for a short time. Then lost the story. I know about the other guy, with all the blood and fingerprints. I understand the frustration for the accused, but what about the victim? And her parents? What the heck was going on there? Knives and torture and stuff.....what were they doing over there? Weren't they college students?

Yes they were college students. And the victims family hasnt been in the media much. I am not stuck on the whole media spin. I am stuck on the FACT that there was ZERO DNA from the accused in the room the woman was murdered in.

I think it was a travesty and makes me not want to visit Italy again knowing you can be falsely accused like that! I have friends in Italy and they had told me how unfair the justice system is there, but I think this really drives home their point.

I do remember reading about some of the trials, and how the accused looked and how the media saw her as someone with confidence and how she acted (like the ugly American that can get away with whatever they want) That's what I saw. But I don't trust the media. Since I didn't follow the whole story like a hawk, I'm only getting bits and pieces. Like I said before, it's a bad thing all around. She can appeal right? Still doesn't sound good.

The US is going to try to get her transfered her to serve her sentence, which would open the door for a pardon. I am not sure the Italian government is aware of that though. I cannot fathom how someone can be convicted of a crime like that with ZERO DNA!!!! A person shed skin cells and hair just standing in a room. Much less killing someone.
