First Time Using RAW File Format and Post-Processing the Photo

This appears to be taken through a window. You can either pull up the black point or use Unsharp mask with a radius of 95 and try different strength settings until you find the right amount to remove the haze before you do anything else.

Practice getting the bird in focus before you move onto anything else. This appears to be back focused. Use a telephoto lens or get closer. Don't shoot through a window except as a last resort.

This was not through a window and wasn't actually from that far away either. Was just very low sun, early in the morning.

Didn't see the point in practising making an already nice looking photo nicer, no challenge there.
