I am excited that she might have any fertile eggs after her mother and brother was brutally murdered in front of her and I hatched her and her brother and saved their mom several times from being attacked by a dog, fox and probable another dog(3rd attack not witnessed) then her head was ripped off and I had to bury her beautiful white Pekin body that I took care of for over 6yrs I went to go feed her at the community college where someone dumped her to survive and I didn't want her to live on the bread everyone was feeding her so I brought her feed and seed and clean water and tried to protect her nests but they always got eaten by the critters so the last time she was 27days in a dog attacked her and the nest and Miss Lydia here said bring her home and let her have her babies. Well she wouldn't sit on them after the attack and change so I hatched them myself and I were their Mother. Roxy the drake was killed Nov 27th and so this would have been a miracle birth and yes I was excited so please be careful what you say and how you say it. I just lost my Father and another family member and I have grief all around me,..you never know what is going on in someone's life so please be careful in what and how you say things,..some people find hope and joy in the smallest things,...

Oh my goodness, I didn't mean any offense and I apologize if I came across as some kind of heartless meanie. I say things out of line a lot of the times, just how I am. I do hope you have some fertile eggs and you can get some babies from your deceased drake even if 12 weeks seems impossible.
Throw some in an incubator and give it a shot. It certainly won't hurt anything
