I found it in a couple of the sites u indicated but they claim that due to the weather conditions they are not doing deliveries at the moment. You can buy chinchilla sand, I think maybe tiny pet is a brand available that I’ve seen. Be sure it isn’t chinchilla dust, you want sand. You can also order natural top soil that doesn’t have fertilizer in it. You can have Home Depot or Lowe’s ship you sand, but it will be pricey. If you can manage it, go to a hardware store and buy sand. When I lived in Brooklyn my local hardware store had sand, but kept it in the basement and you had to ask for it. Space is limited on the sales floor in the city.
Thanks for the info. Incredible though how it's 12 bucks at Home Depot and upon just checking w/ Amazon, they have it for $37. Smh.This is what I use for my quail.

Edit. I pay about 12 dollars for this at my local Home Depot.
I have no clue...maybe because it's so heavy. Makes zero sense to me.Thanks for the info. Incredible though how it's 12 bucks at Home Depot and upon just checking w/ Amazon, they have it for $37. Smh.
I agree. Plus, they're probably taking advantage of the fact that these stores are not doing deliveries at the moment due to Covid & storm conditions. Nonetheless, that's an exaggerated hike.Amazon has to up the price to cover the cost of their "free shipping".
It really isn't. The price difference is pretty much about the same or a little less than another company would charge you for shipping.I agree. Plus, they're probably taking advantage of the fact that these stores are not doing deliveries at the moment due to Covid & storm conditions. Nonetheless, that's an exaggerated hike.
How many do you keep? How do you keep the smell down? I want to start keeping some in my room, but smell is my biggest concern. Do you have them on hardware cloth or shavings?I live in an apartment in NYC, USA. They stay in my bedroom. Being that sand might get a little dusty, perhaps u can recommend soil I could purchase over the internet.
