Amazon Cozy coop heater

It's not something I would buy. For younger chicks, I would recommend a heat plate. Once they are fully feathered ~ 6 weeks old, I don't provide any supplemental heat in the coop. As long as it is dry and free of drafts (but well ventilated), it should be fine for your chickens. I put extra bedding down in the winter. For me, this is straw or hay. They do just fine.

I purchased that exact heater. I like my rentacoop heating plate better but I’ve found after they were 3 weeks or so old they prefer the cozy coop. The cozy coop also has two settings And will get VERY warm. I didn’t use it with the chicks because it felt too warm.
ive transitioned them to the garage until they can stay outdoors and use It in 30-40 degree temps and theyre frequently sleeping near it.
I would say it’s a good heater but it’s situational.

A lot of people don't use coop heaters because if chickens get my used to the somewhat warmer temperature, if the power quits, they could go into shock.
