Amberlink gender?

Okay, so recently tsc has gotten chicks and me being me I couldn’t help myself so I ended up getting 4 chicks, 2 buff Orpingtons, 1 Austrolorp, and a Amberlink? I’m familiar with all except amber links, never had them. The one chick I got was straight run and I’m thinking it might be a cockerel, it’s comb is huge comparing to the others and it seems to lead them all (I also have 2 ducklings, couldn’t help myself there either lol) I’ve inserted pictures, if anyone is familiar with Amberlinks is this what both genders look like or is it an early sign of cockerel and I’m dumb lol? I know it’s way early but if it might be I’m gonna have to help myself and know not to get attached because I have to many cockerels as it is. Thanks xoxo

If it is an amberlink, definitely male. Red sex link females start out with red down, males have white. Females are predominantly red with a little white in wings/tail. Males are white with red patches.

Although looking at the other pictures, I'm not sure you have an amberlink. I think he (90% sure on that he is male even if not an amberlink) might be a Cornish Cross. His legs are REALLY thick and his body is very bulky. How is his size compared to the others?

They were listed as amberlinks in TSC, hes about the same size as the others, maybe even a little smaller, well smaller compared to the buffs

It is a amberlink, it’s looking like a cockerel, but wait a few weeks to be sure

The signs at TSC are only as accurate as their staff is knowledgeable. If that is an amberlink, you have a definite male since his plumage is white based.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize amberlink females didn't have the predominant red coloring. Still most likely a rooster though with those thick legs and comb.
