Amberlinks

I've been raising chickens for 15 years but I had never heard of an Amberlink. But I recently bought 4 of them at TSC. I'm sure they are a sex link but does anyone know what breeds are used to produce them? Are they good layers?

they are a red sex link. I believe they use a RIR and a Leghorn.

Should be good layers then. Those are two breeds that I like.

Yes, there are usually crosses between RIR and Leghorn, White Rock, etc. Just like Red Sex Links, there are many different variations.
