My best guess is she stepped on it and broke it by accident. Even hens who aren't egg eaters will eat one that is already broken.Amelia ate one of her eggs yesterday! I was pretty upset and worried about the other eggs. I did however candle the eggs the day before she ate one and that one didn’t look like it was alive or even started developing and she hasn’t eaten another one. Do you know why she ate it?
