I have an older chicken coop and pen. Haven't used it in a few months. Because of the risk chicken diseases can pose to peafowl, is there anything that can be put on the soil to treat the soil and kill any disease present that anyone may be aware of? I want to use the pen for my peachcicks.

I would think a diluted bleach sprayed all over would kill anything you need to, but then make sure to air it out properly so there's no bleach fog. And some DE everywhere to help with the other things like mites.

Nah, not really.
Bleach will peter out (neutralize) before it kills much.
It can also create a very toxic gas if put on ammonia from manure.
Did you have disease present in the last flock you had there?
