Ameracauna???? Gender????

We were told these two were Ameracauna. Bought out of a straight run. But really unsure because they don't seem to look like anything I have researched. Would love some input.

They look like one of the hatchery colored egg hybrids that are popular now. The bottom one is for sure a cockerel, and I think the red one is too, but less certain on that one.

Comb size and patchy coloring! Both of these guys had very prominent combs for young pea combed birds so it was pretty straightforward. Darker coloring on shoulders is *often* an indicator as well. (Sometimes pullets have this but it's not a patch and more of a collage, think Red Shouldered Yokohamas as an example of an exception)
