I'm thinking roo but I'm new to this breed. It's almost twice the size of the other that's not much younger than it is.

I'm hoping for a rooster to cover my BC & cuckoo marans with, he came from the prettiest dark olive colored egg. Do you know what color eggs that cross would produce? He's around 4 months I was told? He's one of my biggest chickens though, including my Easter egger pullet that's full grown.
 
He does look to be a cockerel.

His being from an olive colored egg means his momma carried the genes for dark brown and blue, either of which could be passed to the offspring. So, depending on the genetics of the father, he could pass on a variety of egg color genes to his offspring.
