Ameracauna Question

It doesn't look 2 much alike but it's feet and tail look the same. That's it. [talking about the first picture you showed when you started this thread.]
should I post a picture of my bird?

an ameracauna has slate colored legs, pea comb, and only comes in 8 recognized colors: blue, black, white, blue wheaten, brown red, buff, wheaten, and silver. here's a link to pics of those colors http://www.ameraucana.org/scrapbook.html yours isn't one of these 8 colors

those chickens that are pictured are 300% easter eaggers. ee's are not a breed they are a mix and can lay any color of egg.

Guess like I don't have a true ameraucano. Well who cares? I love my birds:}
EE's are great chickens too, they all lay nice colored eggs. Thats the spirit as long as you like them, that's all that counts. You have to except truth and find some criticism on here as well.

Many people who want ameraucanas get easter eggers when they try buying them from a hatchery, farm store, or at a chicken swap. They may actually lay a blue green egg or might not, but they are a great mixed breed chicken. Many breeders own EE's because they like all the different shades of eggs for their egg customers or themselves. I have some as well as purebread ameraucanas because I like the rainbow colors of eggs. If you want to learn more about either kind, just go to the threads on ameraucanas or EE's.
