Ameracauna sexing question

I just have a quick question. I hatched out three new ameracauna babies and they are about 10 days old. I was noticing today as I was playing with them that two of them have very dark wing feathers coming in and the other one has really light. Does that mean anything as far as sex? Just curious as this is the first time I have ever hatched.

No, it doesn't mean anything on sexing. You can get different shades of coloring, especially in blue chicks.

For sexing, males will tend to get very wide, thick looking combs. Females will have more narrow, combs - appearing to be 1 row of peas. There's differences in how they hold their tails too, but that's harder to explain. They will take longer to sex than most breeds, generally 6-8 weeks.

Ah, well wheaten Ameraucana's are sexed by coloring as well.
