Yay you will love em they are beautiful just make sure you get Ameraucana and not Americana and as you have probably already read on this thread make sure you get brown red like this pic. I now know that my girl is a EE (which are great but not when you think you have a true Ameraucana)

I have one Ameraucana that I bought 6 years ago. She is still standoffish but I love the breed. I have 5 EEs, bought as EEs for the egg color. I never bred them. I'd like to start breeding them but I have so many orpingtons now.

Three of my most recent babies to hatch are Ameraucana roo over Orpingtons! Someone around here sells them as Orpaucanas haha. Such a good combination of breeds for an EE! I'm excited to see how they mature and feather out, they are the cutest babies!

I love that! My Ameraucana isn't laying any more, but I want more! More, I say! No flock of Orpingtons is complete without Ameraucanas! Ok, I'll settle down, lol.

Sure! Here’s them as babies! The mom is a lavender laced English Orpington and Daddies are lavender too!

They are adorable! So cute! I can't wait to see how they look feathered! I ordered some Ameraucana eggs from Ebay. They are supposed to be show quality true ameraucanas, I hope so.
