Ameraucana 9 weeks hen or rooster?

I have 1 Ameraucana and am starting to wonder if it is a rooster? The first 3 are at 8 weeks and the last 2 today 9 weeks.

That is a roo, you can tell both by color and the large comb.

That is what I was thinking also. I just kept telling my self it was a hen because it is my favorite.

Well, you could have just told us it was your favorite, and right there we could have told you it was a roo

. That seems to be how it goes, the roos are friendly and outgoing, curious and always the favorite.

But yeah, that's a cockeral. He'll probably develop reddish color on his wing/shoulder and will be very pretty as he grows up.

Yes, I have 3 EE cockerals about the same age as yours and they are amazingly friendly and outgoing...I can't wait to see how they end up as full roosters.

Sadly, I can not keep any roosters only hens.
