Ameraucana chicks color

I saw the parent stock but what color is this??? She had two pens one black rooster over blue hens in one and a blue rooster over blue hens in the other

I don't know, but it sure is cute! I would say it's probably a Blue Wheaten.

My Wheaten/Blue Wheaten chicks were very yellow to start out. This one does not look like it came from black or blue parents, the brown on it's head would not be present on a true breeding black or blue. You are going to need to let it grow out to see what it is.

I agree that chick is not from either of those pens, if the colors are pure.

did the parent stock have a lot of red leakage?

She had easter egger chicks but they were seperate from the these. Maybe a few got mixed in on accident. I saw no leakage on the hens or rooster from the ameraucana pen. I didn't know if this was a new color I wasn't aware of or what lol poor little things need to find a new home
