Ameraucana color question?

I am getting 3 ameraucana's that are red, black breasted red, and a splash. well the red i think my friend was actually called brown red or somthing like that?

All three are 100 % ameraucana but i dont see the colors listed on the site im looking at?

You're sure they're true Ameraucanas?

LOTS of people selling Easter Eggers claim up and down that their birds are purebred Ameraucanas.

If your bird is red, brown and black, gold and black, brown, or any other weird color that isn't on the list of accepted colors there's a 70% chance it is an Easter Egger.


What color are their legs? Soles of the feet?



Brown-Red is an accepted color, but brown-reds are BLACK with red on the neck and in males on the shoulders and saddle too. Nowhere else.

their legs are blue.

is it possible they have parents of different colors?
