Ameraucana Egg colors

Do true Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs or can they lay cream colors?

I was sold bantam eggs that were cream colored, and got a vairety of lavender, black and (I think) blue chicks. I was told that they were supposed to be true Ameraucana bantams, but I thought true Ameraucanas laid only blue eggs.
Can anyone enlighten me?

True Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs. You have a mixed breed bird called an Easter Egger if the hen lays anything besides blue.
