Ameraucana Eggs

Hello-
My Ameraucana lady is supposed to be laying "blue" eggs. She has never layed any other color eggs than brown. I know for a fact she is laying eggs ad her for 2 years now. Why is this? Its not that important I'm just curious as to why this is happening. Thank You!

Its just what some ee's do if their is the right mix of genes in their past.I have one of those to, nice bird good layer but brown eggs. I also have her sister that looks like her twin that lays a nice medium green egg. I guess it's just some gene that developed in one girl and not the other.
