Hello All!

I am new to this whole chicken thing and of course after only a few weeks, I am already up to 9 and counting! The orpington birds I'm sort of getting the feel for, but I have two pea combs that have me stumped! A little insight would be much appreciated!

The brown chick should be a roughly 5 week old Ameraucana/Favorelle mix. The red just peaked through 2 days ago. Gender thoughts on this one?

The puffier blue one is an Ameraucana - again wondering your opinion on gender as the pea comb is pretty new to me. Both birds have similar size combs, just shaped differently. This one is also 5 weeks.

The other blue chick is supposed to be an orpington, however it has a super small odd shaped comb and a lot less "fuzz" on it's head than the other orpingtons, so I'm wondering what ya'll think on breed? I'm questioning if it's maybe mixed. It also holds itself insanely upright like a rooster, not sure if that matters at this age. Probably more closer to 4 weeks.

Both of the pea-combed birds are males (the brown/black and blue). The last chick looks like a pullet. She's blue, but has a pea comb as well, not a single like an Orpington should.
