This chick was labeled Ameraucana and it was from ace hardware. I was told it was from Hoovers hatchery. I was wondering if this was correct and what color will it be once it is older?

Thanks for the infoIt's an Easter egger, it will likely be some sort of brown Partridge.
The birds pictured here are a Speckled Sussex, three Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, and two that could be Cinnamon Queens but also look just like a normal Production Red. Egg color has a genetic basis and a green/blue layer cannot switch to brown. It could lighten over laying cycle but they cannot switch. No birds pictured are likely to lay blue/green eggs. Do you have other chickens?Cinnamon Queens, Silver and Gold Lace, and 2 Americaunas if thats what they are? Did lay blue/green/pinkish eggs early on but now just brown and cream
Thanks I was tired, The one is a speckled sussex, But the chicks I had looked exactly like those and did lay blue/green eggs as I have posted them before, but since theyve gotten older now all I get are brown and tan eggs, every once is awhile Ill get a pinkish brown egg. Im unsure exactly which hen does it? These girls are almost 4 years old and Ill probly get more chicks soon to replace them but Im having trouble trusting the TS and Buchheit stores as I get a bunch of roosters when they are supposed to be hens.... not even sure Im getting what I want when I buy them. The birds pictured here are a Speckled Sussex, three Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, and two that could be Cinnamon Queens but also look just like a normal Production Red.
