Ameraucana males or females?

Yes pointy usually means male :( the hackle and saddle feathers are usually the biggest indicator.

EEs have pea combs so the comb won’t be big like single comb chickens.

But the comb does not look very pink or red either so there may still be hope. :fl

Is it a sign of a male if they have pointed thin feathers around the neck and tail?

Yes.
But, we're talking about the actual shape of the feathers. Some chickens have narrow, pointy markings in the feathers, and that can make it look like they have pointy feathers--but a hen with pointy markings will still have the feather itself broad and rounded outside the markings, if you look carefully.

The more days that pass the more I’m seeing both of these are males lol pretty sure I’m seeing some saddle feathers on the white and black one! And there’s the red around the eyes and mouth
And the black one has the red on the shoulders which I’m pretty sure is a good indicator, I was hoping hoping if I did have a male I’d only have 1, I only have 6 chickens so I can’t have 2 males! Lol

How old are they by now? I'm thinking a month and a half, based on the date of your first post?

If so, then the comb and wattle growth makes it likely that they are males. It's still a little early for saddle feathers to show up, but if you see them--you might be right. I'm not seeing them in the picture, but you're the one on the spot, so you've got the best view.

I think you're right about the red on the shoulders also being more likely on a male.

They are about 8 weeks. Maybe I am wrong around the saddle feathers! I thought I was seeing them on the white one, right before the tail the feathers pointing down, you would definitely know more about it than me, this is my first flock so maybe I’m seeing things 🤣

Oh, the tiny ones coming in: yes, I think I see pointy ends on them.
The bird has some feathers with rounded ends that are drooping down, and they were the ones I was paying more attention to :)

I'm not sure that I would know more than you--I'm seeing pictures over the internet, while you're right there seeing it in person. That really helps!

Black one I feel pretty confident is a Male, but white one is hard to tell still... I don't necessarily see saddles yet, but the coloring on the black one is telling me its a male. I wish I could describe it better 😭

Here’s an updated pic of them both I’m still so confused I’m constantly going back and forth with them both 😂😂😂

If all the chickens in the most recent photos are the same age:

--I think the bottom photo has a cockerel (mostly white), and a pullet (black head at the bottom.) I'm going mostly by the relative colors of the combs, and a little bit on the size of the combs.

--photo above the bottom one has 3 birds with combs visible. I think they are the same gender as each other. If the mostly-white one is a cockerel, then so are the other two.

Unless the head in the bottom photo also belongs to one of the birds in the photo above it: if that is the case, I'll just say that sexing birds from photos is tricky :)

--the first two photos with one bird in each: if they're the same bird, and the same age as the birds in the lower photos, then cockerel also (based on comb color.) I also think I see pointy hackle feathers in the first photo, although I'm not positive about that.
