Ameraucana or Easter Egger?

I'm sure this forum gets lots of questions like this but I just wanted to double check. I have the chance to purchase a 3 week old lavender ameraucana pullet from someone local that got extras from a hatchery. However the chicks she has left are more of a buff color but she says in the sunshine they look more lavender. I assumed that any hatchery that would sell lavender ameraucanas would sell them as purebred but I could be wrong.

I am not looking for a hen to breed, I just want some colorful eggs in my basket. But I do already have an Easter Egger and would really like an Ameraucana. There is also a breeder that I have purchased from before who will have true Ameraucana chicks in a few weeks. The only issue with that is they are all straight run and definitely I need a pullet.

My phone won't let me upload a photo right now but I will try later. I know the feather pattern on the wings is very similar to a lot of Easter Eggers but the down feathers are not at all. The new feathers coming in are buff with gray bars (almost lavender?) but the baby feathers are the gray/lavender color you would expect to see but then there are touches of orange on the head and a little on the chest. Do some lavender chicks from the hatchery first start to feather out like this? What are all of your opinions? Thanks!

Sorry everyone! I am out camping and have horrible service and somehow my phone posted the same question 4 times:thLet's keep this thread as the original one for everyone to reply to. In the mean time, I will be attempting to delete the other three threads!

Yay! I was finally able to upload a picture! Let me try to get a few more up

I'm not aware of any hatcheries that sell Lavender Ams. As far as I know the only colors you can get from a hatchery are Blue, Black, and Splash (though they are normally just listed as Blue). Lavender is not yet an accepted color so any birds of that color would technically be considered EEs anyway. I don't know much about the Lavender color but it seems odd that it would have any buff coloring. Are you sure she didn't get EEs that just happen to look Lavender?

I know My Pet Chicken and Cackle sell lavender Ameraucanas so that's where I assumed she got them from. I also thought that those 2 hatcheries are the ones who sell true Ameraucanas. Hopefully I will hear back from the seller about where she got the chicks.

one thing to note is lavender is not a recognized color in ameraucana at this time

I hope you keep us updated on what she looks like. Right now she looks a LOT like the EEs I got from Cackle (she may be a little darker), which I don't expect to be to be a solid color, but I suppose you never know with them until they're done growing.
I don't have the greatest camera, but here are mine. The light ones are my EEs for comparison:

Have you tried looking at her leg color? I don't know at what age the Ameraucanas get their slate legs or how different that might look from green, but she looks old enough now that you should be seeing some change.
