Ameraucana or Easter Egger

We got these babies this morning. According to the guy at Big R we have Rhode Island Red and Ameraucana. The "Ameraucana" look like pictures from the breed association, but they don't have poofs.

If they came from a hatchery it's an Easter egger not ameracauna, but It doesn't look like either, Easter Eggers and ameraucanas have muffs and beards

Ameracauna chicks may not develop poofs until an older age, some of myn don't even have them. Don't worry!

They're probably Easter Eggers, though without puffy cheeks/muffs, it is possible that they are an entirely different breed (like Leghorn or Welsummer).

Thanks! I guess time will tell. I am doubting leghorn because I'm in CO and I read they're not cold hardy. I don't think our farm store would order birds that aren't viable in our environment.
