I was sold 4 pullets from a feed store. They were marked as Ameraucanas but after reading all of these threads I don’t know what I have. One of the chicks turned out to be a Welsummer Roo and went back to the feed store. Please help me figure out what these last three are.
I have two brown reds and one black and white. The black and white is the shyest. The brown and reds are very affectionate and quickly hop up on my leg when I come around and sit.

Thank you so much! It’s been difficult to find similar pictures. I’ve read so many threads and I’m really confused at this point. Once the Roo left, the brown reds stepped up as equally dominant. The black white (silver?) doesn’t much care and is very passive.

Thank you equine chick! I’m a true newbie with this breed and can’t have a Roo where I live. Fingers crossed these three are pullets!

Annageckos thank you! I’m so relieved! I am really pleased by how sweet they are and I am already attached. I’ve had them since March 31.

The funny thing was I went looking for EEs. They said they didn’t have any but they did have Amerauncanas! Guess they were very wrong and it all worked out in the end!:celebrate

You have some very pretty EE pullets there. Most feed stores and even hatcheries sell them as Ameraucana. True AM have slate legs and beaks, lay only blue eggs. My EE have slate to green legs and all 3 lay shades of green eggs. A wonderful addition to any flock. My 3 are in picture with my AM rooster in the back.
