The big issue with EE vs. Am is that the unsuspecting buyer may pay big bucks (usually the real McCoy Am starts at $10/chick with price going up from there, while EE chicks are in bottom tier pricing) for a falsely labeled chick. Also, Ams are guaranteed to carry 2 copies of the blue egg gene, while EE often only carry one, and sometimes NONE. Ams breed true to feather color. EE do not.
