Ameraucana or EE?

My rooster, Caruso, is between 8-9 months old. He was sold to me as an Ameraucana. I haven't been able to find a picture that looks exactly like him. If he is an Ameraucana, what color would you call him? Or is he an EE? I am not a breeder and I only paid $5 for him, so I would be happy either way. I just want to know what I have. Don't want to keep calling him an Ameraucana if he really isn't.

Thanks! We think he is very handsome too. I am curious. Is it the coloring that gives it away? or something else? I pretty much expected a $5 "Ameraucana" rooster on craigslist to actually be an EE. Looking at the pictures of standard Ameraucana roos, I could see that his coloring didn't really match exactly, but he was awfully close in my amateur eyes.
