Does anyone know if Ameraucana pullets lay light brown eggs / pinkish when they first start laying? Later they turn blue green. Someone told me this and I m not sure that is true.

No, that is not true. An Ameraucana pullet will lay a blue egg from the very beginning. Chickens do not at any point change the color of egg they lay. Often birds that are sold as Ameraucanas are actually Easter Eggers. EEs usually lay green or blue eggs, but can also lay brown, pink, or cream eggs, depending on what breeds are mixed in.

Hope that helps.
