Hey guys!!

My girls started laying and this is the first year for some!!

I purchased a couple olive eggers last year. And I think one ended up laying blue eggs.

I heard somewhere that the earlobes of your chicken can help dictate what color egg they lay (is this true?)

Here is the color of the egg and the chicken I think might be laying it. Can anyone confirm?

I just wanted to find out who was laying the blue eggs in my flock was all. As far as I knew I wasn’t supposed to have any. This particular chick was in an olive egger / speckled Sussex mix.

And she obviously looks like a barred Plymouth Rock mix. Idk where she got the hairdo. 😂 but I sure love it.

One is a speckled Sussex,
The other is an Easter egger (Amerucana mix)
And two maran hens.
Oh and one seabright but she lays tiny cream eggs lol.
The only other one that might come into question would be the Easter Egger.

Speckled Sussex lay light brown/cream eggs and Marans brown.
