Wow. I’ve been able to tell on straight comb breeds around 3 weeks, but this is my first year with pea combs. I got these babies straight run so I’m pretty happy with the ratio. I’m hoping to start breeding them next year.I’ve found that usually by 4-5 weeks I can tell which are going to be boys. Some of the more recent ones I’ve hatched I’ve been able to suspect the Roos by 2 weeks. I’m new to raising Ameraucana’s but I’ve hatched about 10 batches so far this year and have another 2 incubating![]()
