I am hoping we don't get a cold snap and they make the trip OK. C'mon babies!

Correction:

11 wheaten/blue wheatens - 1 more was pipped about an hour ago and very active

1 buff baby out and drying, one more pipped and very active

We have three and a half more hours before I have to leave to the post office.

I have a heat pack that I will be putting in with them. It is a 72 hour pack that only gets up to about 100 degrees.

I had some temperature fluctuations in my hatching room because I had two kitties in there. I had to clean and sanitize everything and get them out. I have sinced removed them and they are in the barn now, in their grown up home.

They're beautiful! I know the second is a Blue Wheaten, but is the top one Wheaten, or is it a darker Blue Wheaten? Looks like a darker Blue Wheaten to me, but it might just be the photo.

i was wondering that myself.i have always thought he was a wheaten but as he grows his feathers are getting lighter-especially on his chest.these are my first so maybe some of the experts can clarify.

I'd bet he's BW then. I have a BW Marans that's about that same color. I've heard the lighter is more desirable, but both boys are very pretty.
