I've never seen legs like that on an ameraucana.
The only thing weird I have seen in the wheat[COLOR=0000CD]e[/COLOR]n lines is an occassional white bird pop out. And, I did have some really blonde birds hatch last year that looked as if they were carrying a diluter gene that diluted the gold and the reds, but they still had a wheaten pattern and slate legs.
Maybe the person had some birds that jumped the fence......![]()

I agree, Diablo does have an unfortunate tail angle but he is pretty fine otherwise (he's HUGE!) so I'm holding on to him and hoping for good things down the road.
