I was wondering what everyone thought of his comb and the brown flecks (just a few) that are mixed in his feathers. Would he be DQ'd for either of those? Thanks

how old is "he"? is he a she? depends of "he" is supposed to be Black or brown red, some times black can leak ground color(red/gold or silver)

I have a black chick that I hatched. It was suppose to be an Ameraucana but the other two that hatched with it are EE's. How can I tell if he is an Ameraucana or an EE? Here is his picture. His name is Hatter and he is 6 weeks old.

I dont see muffs... he is not even a EE(maybe he has a pea comb)

I think he does have a pea comb. He was hatched from a blue egg. Oh well, Any ideas what he could possibly be??

It's hard to tell at 6 wks. At 6 mo. you can tell better. Mine are 6 months and I still can't decide which to keep . They don't come into their full glory until 1 yr.
