This is a controversial statement. Some say they are EEs, some say they are ameraucanas. I personally see them as a none standard ameraucana, since ALL their genetics are pure.
X2I think most of us here on this thread would take what pips&peeps/Jean (President of the Ameraucana Breeders Club/ UOC Member) as Gospel in this regard![]()
I strongly suggest that anyone who is interested in breeding purebred poultry, (of ANY breed), purchase a copy of the Standard of Perfection. It is not just for those of us who exhibit our birds. It has pages of information on structural faults and body type.Any bird shown must be of a recognizable color/pattern.
Removing the white would be best.It could be boredom. You could try something new like garden produce or sod or weeds. The new wears off quick so it may not help for long.I asked this question on the wrong forum, the pictures. i am so new here. I have three -Ameraucana/EE 8 weeks and the white one is pecking the two brown colors. Is there any way to stop this. They are on medicated chick starter. Thank you for your help.
Michael is very busy most of the time.Try John Blehm for a forum password he may be able to help. These club positions can be hard to do with family, job, chickens and life in general. An Ameraucana Breeder's Club question:
I sent in my membership paperwork during the first half of April, but I haven't heard anything back yet. How long does it normally take? I sincerely apologize for asking this question here, but I can't register for the ABC board without being a member first. I am really looking forward to reading the Club Handbook!
Thank you!![]()
