They grow so fast! My blue wheatan is looking like a lil hen now. Must get more chicks lol went by so fast.

I love that her and her wheatan sister are so cuddly lol I hope they're less flighty than my EE hen but happy just the same

Thank you, I saw someone who said they keep the ones with silver in them to improve feather quality, but I couldn't imagine keeping that in my bloodlines. I am sure they will fit nicely in the freezer.

Can someone advise me about my little Ameracauna, Miss Kitty? She looks partridge, but with blue? Roo was white (blue dominant) and hen was black.

I was surprised when she/he showed up with this coloring! lol

So basically if you breed any pure color with another color it becomes an easter egger because its not a pure color? And how the heck does Black + White = that? Genetics are crazy right??

Im interested in this answer, too. Say, hypothetically I breed a red/brown Ameraucana with a blue Ameraucana. Both full blooded. I understand the color of the chicks may not be recognized by the Ameraucana Club, but it still would be a full blooded Ameraucana, not an EE. Am I correct?
