EEs can feather in any color. Almost all are mixed color. They change a lot when they get adult feathers in, even from juvenile feathers. No way to tell on chicks.
 
Here's a couple of pics of my Wheaten Ameraucana Boy. He's about 10 months old. I'm interested in comments as to his good and bad features. Thanks in advance for any input!




And here is one of my pullets. They are also about 10 months old. One is Wheaten (the darker one) and the other Blue Wheaten (the smaller, lighter one). I need to get some better pics of the girls.

beautiful looking birds!!!! For the Wheaton amd Blue Wheaton are the males always dark feathered and females light?
