He will throw some gorgeous colored chicks that can be guaranteed to produce colored eggs. Someone will want him.

Any idea what this purebred BBS Ameraucana chick will look like? Doesn't look like my blacks at all and not really like my blues. Dark blue? Splash? This is only my 2nd round of Ameraucanas so not sure what to expect.

So, yesterday I sold my splash EE at auction, and went pretty quickly. However, I couldn't bring myself to do the same with the splash ameraucana. Anyone want him? I would feel better giving him directly to a person instead of simply to the highest bidder
I would in a heartbeat if I lived within driving distance. :/ Hope you find a good home for him!
On another note I have a question for you all. Between a black, blue, splash or wheaton which color Roo would give me the most diverse colored chicks over a mixed flock? Right now I have a black and blue and all I am getting is black chicks. Lol I'm actually selling the roos I have as I do not like their temperament so I'm trying to figure out what color ams I need to order to get a new boy.
Thanks for the chart! I am actually breeding for EE'S so separating out colors isn't a worry. I would have a couple Am hens of the same color as the roo so I could have a few pures but my main focus would be diverse EE chicks. My flock currently contains gl polish, light brahma, dark cornish, blue cochin, W leghorn, BCM, EE and a light blue Am hens.I would in a heartbeat if I lived within driving distance. :/ Hope you find a good home for him!

If you put Wheaten or Wheaten Splash over BBS colors they will be EE's... Wheatens should always be bred separate from BBS's...
Here's a chart for BBS breeding though...

Edited to add, so blue over blue will give the most diverse colors...
