Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Please pardon the intrusion on my part, but I would like some opinions from you Ameraucana experts!

I have two show-quality bantam Wheatens, and while I initially thought I had two pullets, I'm beginning to think I have a pair. Any thoughts? Obviously, it's a little early on to know for sure, but this is my hunch.
Suspected cockerel......

Look at how dark red those shoulder pads are.

"He's" also growing in chest feathers, which are black near the ends. Not a good sign!

Here's the pullet, which I'm pretty sure I have right.

Thank you, guys!

They are a little young still, but I would say one pullet and one cockerel at this point.

Also, you cannot tell if a bird is show quality when it is a chick.
That's true!

The only reason I said that, I guess, is because they are from our local breeder who specifically breeds them for show and is the leading judge of poultry shows in the entire state of Ohio. All their bantams are labeled as show-quality.

Can we get some LF Siver egg pics to compare too?

Thanks. Just not sure what mine should look like is all.

No, but I can tell you that overall they are not as big and not as blue...like the other varieties compared to my LF blacks.
FYI, in bantams my lavenders are producing the most consistent BLUE eggs.
