These guys are 3 weeks 3 days old. Are they transforming into boys before my eyes? I didn't realize how dark they were getting til I saw your pics! I just took a few random shots. Lol in another week it will probably be more obvious. Or is the dark feathering the deal breaker?

You have quite a few cockerels. Dark=cockerel.

Wow! There's a chance then that I only have 2 blue wheaten pullets.. but on the bright side I've got some really sweet and pretty cockerels!! It might be hard to choose..!

Something lacking in the hens diet can sometimes cause this. Give the bird a multivitamin/mineral supplement and it could straighten out with time. Sometimes, crooked toes are hereditary, sometimes it's a nutritional matter.

I have 4 week olds and 5 week olds together in the same pen, so she might be one of the five week olds. I didn't look to see if she had a wing band or not. The five week olds have been banded, but I haven't done the four week olds yet - probably this weekend.

She is more feathered than mine. Very pretty!

I'm pretty sure you have a male. I raise these and males are dark like yours. It is funny though it's acting like a mom. Funny in a cute way. I wouldn't expect that to last.

Not looking good for you. You might, might have one female there in pic three. Hard to tell from that photo.

I think your right! When I went and looked once more Eve is the only light colored one I have. Sniffle..
