Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

I have BBS but they are nearly grown now. No room for more.

No problem. Anyone can read the posts, except in the Members only section, but you do have to be a member to post anywhere and access the Members only.

But, our online membership form is back up and it's very easy to join. :) Just go to ameraucanabreedersclub.org/membership.html :)

I'm starting to let my Juvie Ams out to get to know my Bieles through their chicken wire. I'm a little worried about combinging them still simply because the Bieles are HUGE. They're only 4 week older but they are giants by comparison.

My little Sage is becoming quite the diva. She always struts with her tail all perked up. Basil still never wants to pos for a picture and Cocoa Puff likes to hide too. Silly chickies.

Talk to the tail he says.

Does Sage have a good profile shape? The U shape is softer when she relaxes.

You'all have no idea how excited I am to announce that I am going to bring home a GORGEOUS pure Ameraucana in about a week. His dad is from the Paul Smith line I've been hearing about here on BYC, and the mom is from Susan Mouw's line in Aiken SC. Here is a picture of my boy and his parents. He was hatched on Feb 29 this year, so still a bit of filling out to go, but I can tell that he will be gorgeous just like his father.
