Hi guys, is this blue more of a splash? I don't know what defines a splash. He definitely has a lot of black feathering.

Blue birds are supposed to have each feather laced with lack, the cockerels and cock birds will be laced with glossy black int he saddle and in the hackles.

How do you go about making the crow collar?
I have too many roosters and I'm afraid neighbors will start noticing. (Like I have at 5:30 am) lol

@samouw Garfunkel seems to be clearing up some. I know he still has a ways to go, but it is exciting to see his progress. Let me know if anything (good or bad) jumps out at you.

@Chicken5555 . He's looking nice, coming along nicely. Those hackles will keep lightening, but probably won't be completely clear...that's an ongoing challenge in the wheatens. Same with his beard, though his looks good at this age.

He is a good wheaten, isn't he? Yes, wing droopy, and a bit of fluff at the base of the tail. He is a bantam.

Ugh! Love my chickies!!! I think this Black split to Choc boy is coming along nicely. Thoughts? He does have a bit of paleness to his earlobe how hard is that to correct?

I'm not an expert on bantams, but that is one of the nicest I've seen...even with the dropped wings.

My Splash and some Chocolates. Cocoa Puff is still pretty little (she's part bantam to get the choc gene), but I know I can work with her still.
