Case in point-
Sold 6 since @RavynFallen
 did math. But, DH just discovered the 15 hatching upstairs.  (He went to turn the light off.) DARN!

He is not suitably impressed with the 6 flying south because in his mind there has still been a net gain.   I hate math.

Ok, someone explain how this subtraction thing works.... The only part of chicken math that works around here is add and multiply....

I only have 2 more batches hatching but I get the same line of grief around here... Seriously only one out 10 hatched this last round back it down.... It will need friends like the other 8 due tomorrow I don't want it lonely and the 2 other brooders in the basement and the one in the kitchen those are too big for it to go in w/.... Good news roof went on my coop yesterday and I already have found plans for my spring coop expansion lol

The subtraction button doesn't work on my calculator either!!! It must be a flaw! The good news is that the plus and times buttons work wonderfully!!!

Curious, you take your birds to auction? What kind of auction, like like a general livestock auction? Or a specific poultry auction?

What is a reasonable price to sell 9 week straight run, Cockerel, or Pullets? Splash and Blue?

I want to make sure I am not over charging for the ones I am not keeping for my breading program.
