No. Docile is more descriptive.Thank you FowlStuff I was wondering before I looked for any. Are they what you would consider a "flighty" breed?

I hope you keep going on the lavender silver project. They are beautiful!Yes. I created some bantam lavender silvers a few years ago and between dog problems and others they died out. I'm starting over on them also. I think I also started created the LF version at the same time, but can't remember what happened with that project...too many breeding projects and not enough written notes. Here are photos of a bantam "lavender silver" Ameraucana from a couple years ago.![]()
I had a nice photo of an adult bantam lavender silver Ameraucana pullet at a show, but can't find it.
Kind of new to this breed but what are the average weights on adult roosters?
You can see an excerpt of the APA Standard on the ABC website
A lesson in evaluating cockerels too early. I very nearly culled this boy at six months. This picture is him, yesterday, at 10 months.
It makes me wonder about the ones I culled that I got from you! It's hard to keep so many roosters for 9-12 months. Maybe it's a good thing I can't see them now or I would probably be kicking myself!!!!
LOL! Could be!
He is a Handsome boy! I need some of your BBS before the breeding season is over!
