The only hesitation on my part is that, for example, one of them has the best type, good legs, good eye-color, good tail carriage, and the best color in her tails and wings of any of my birds. The others are close too. I've been working hard to get more black and blue in the tails and wings so I just may use her and worry about getting the muffs/beards back over the next year or two.

Sorry to change the topic.I just candled my week old eggs from Flashpoint Farms and It looks to be 100% fertility these are blacks.Hard to see on a couple of them.I also just recieved buff eggs from Gary Ramey.All in good shape,good color and 2 oz. average.I am also expecting black,white,wheaten from Wayne Meridth.I am getting into LF after years of mostly bantams.I will be using the blacks to improve size on the LF lavs. Jerry

My BW stock is all Meredith bloodlines. I love them, friendly birds and good color. Some of them are like lap cats.
